If Porta 6 red was a blend of native Portuguese grapes, then the white had to be too. There was only one candidate: Vinho Verde. It’s Portugal’s flagship white grape – the ‘green wine’ you’ll be offered in every wine bar, restaurant and street-side café from Lisbon to the Algarve. It’s got naturally low alcohol and a refreshing spritz – seriously thirst-quenching, and seriously drinkable. Crisp. Zingy. Citrussy. It’s the perfect aperitif – or else try it with fresh seafood.
