Padrísimo (Mexican slang for „great!“) is A winter warmer inspired by Mexican hot chocolate. This big stout was robust and complex already before we dropped 20kg of roasted cocoa nibs from Ecuador into the tank along with a decent load of vanilla, cinnamon, and a bucketful of Ancho chilies. These provide not only a slightly warming finish but also a nice aroma of smoked plums that mingle with the pastry ingredients.
It might smell like a Christmas cookie but finishes dry, bitter, and a tad spicy with no sugary overload.
